On 27 April 2023, Kleen-Pak hosted a bursary presentation event with representatives and students from Singapore Institute of Technology, SIT.

The Kleen-Pak Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged but deserving undergraduates pursuing the Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

4 Bursaries Award will be given to selected SIT undergraduates each year for 4 years, amounting to a total of $80,000.

The event was started with an opening speech by Mr. Tan Hock Kiam, Managing Director of Kleen-Pak. In his speech, he congratulated the awardees and encouraged them to strive in their studies. He also highlighted the responsibility of organisation in giving back to the community and make a positive impact on society. 4 deserving students from the academic year of 2022, namely Felicia Tan Qi Ying, Adrian Leow, Oo Wei Quan Danzil, Nurul Nazirah Binte Hassan attended and received bursary during the event.

Follow by the bursary presentation, each of students gave an appreciation speech. "Receiving this bursary has allowed me to focus more on my studies by relieving the financial burden that comes with having to work part-time" as quoted by Felicia. Danzil was also thankful for this bursary which has lifted some of the burden from his grandparents. Through this bursary, Adrian was able to participate in an Overseas Immersion Program and Nazirah was able to attend various workshops and events that add value to her studies. These 4 students extended their heartfelt gratitude to Kleen-Pak for the generous bursary.

Students and representatives from SIT were excited to join guided tour to peek at newly renovated facility of wet wipes manufacturing. These students received some insights on how wet wipes are produced and industry best practices. The event ended with a networking session.

Kleen-Pak hopes to support deserving students relentlessly in order for them to pursue studies and achieve goals. These bursaries are not only a symbol of our commitment to education, but also our commitment to creating opportunities for young people who may not have the financial means to pursue their academic dreams.
