On Saturday, 25 November 2017, Kleen-Pak as a company went a little further by involving all staff in a company-wide charity event by giving the people at Willing Hearts Soup Kitchen helping hands to prepare, cook and distribute meals to the needy as part of Kleen-Pak annual CSR initiative. Over 45 Kleen-Pak staff and directors spent a half day at Willing Hearts.

Willing Hearts is a secular, non-denominational and non-affiliated charity which operates a soup kitchen that provides daily meals to the underprivileged and needy individuals in Singapore. Beneficiaries include the elderly, the disabled, low-income families, children from single-parent or otherwise poverty-stricken families, and migrant workers in Singapore.

Kleen-Pak's passionate volunteers were involved in the preparation of the vegetables, cleaning the kitchen and utensil, and delivery of packed food to the elderly and needy in Pasir Ris, Geylang, and North Bridge Road. Though it was a tough, physical work for many, it was also definitely a satisfying one.
